Introduction

*Wax and Wane started as a wand shop. We also sell smudge fans, smudge sticks, loose herbs for burning, crystal adorned leather cuffs, runes, calendars, and other metaphysical items, and home-made "body, mind & spirit" items for your home and sacred space All wands and fans are custom made to order...and are as special and unique as you! All of our wands are made by hand, using North American specialty woods such as Oak, Pine, Dogwood, Tulip Tree, Nandina, Forsythia, Holly, Orange Honeysuckle, Ivy, Willow, Azalea, Gardenia, Cherry, and more. Handles are made from suede, silk, cotton, precious stones, and crystals. Tips of wands are hand-carved, and crystals are available. These wands are altar blessed, made from trees and shrubs from our own land, and the wood is given freely of the trees, in exchange for an offering. Custom wands are available...we love to work with customers and fulfill special needs: decorative and magical! Message us if you would like to co-create a custom wand, with a particular wood, handle, crystal, beads, and colors. *A note about SUPPLIES: All of my smudge fan feathers are naturally dropped, and cruelty free. They are either naturally colored, or dyed with henna/vegetable inks. Any leather used is either sustainable, recycled, or upcycled. Any dye is non-chemical. Herbs and bath or apothecary items are pesticide free, organic, vegan, allergy-free, and many are home grown. Wand wood and many stones are found on hikes, or from plants on my own property, and are harvested responsibly. All of my supplies are purchased, when possible, by independently owned local shops such as Health Unlimited, Phoenix & Dragon, local markets, or at the Stone Mountain Pow-wow, directly from Native craftspeople. I do not support Hobby Lobby stores. Art supplies are purchased from Binders. My feathers are from crueltyfreefeathers.com. Thank you! *A Note to All Customers: Each fan is one of a kind, and all the feathers are unique and naturally dropped, so be aware that your fan will be as close as possible, but not identical, to the demo fan in the photo. Sometimes certain small detail feathers go in and out of stock, as do the sustainable leather handle pieces that I receive from small artisans. We keep the fans as close to the pictures as possible, and use the same materials whenever they are available. If they are not available, then we use a very close substitution.These are not craft store feathers, so some feathers will not be perfectly smooth, starched, or chemically dyed like packaged store feathers. We think this makes the fans far more special.*

Payment Policy

PAYPAL is my preferred form of payment. You can use your credit card, as long as your are a PayPal customer. Items will not be shipped until payment is processed.

Shipping Policy

DOMESTIC ORDERS: Will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail. Tracking and Insurance are included. Tracking info will be sent upon ship day. Note that items are handmade, and may take up to 14 business days to create, pack, and ship. Please be patient! These are handmade items. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Please note that First Class International package has a ship time of 7-15 business days. Usually, arrives in a week, but note that 15 business days is 3 weeks. I can't be responsible for Postal Delivery delays, only responsible for getting your item in the mail in a timely manner. EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: If you need your package delivered in 3-5 business days, I will provide USPS Express International. However, your shipping fees will be increased. Please be prepared to pay between $20-$30 US dollars for Express service. CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: Please note that US Postal Rates to Canada have recently increased. I am looking into the cost of UPS or Fed Ex for Canadian shipping. As of now, the rates have raised in my shop, because they were raised at the US Post Office. PLEASE NOTE: Due to a Canadian mail strike, some orders are taking much longer than usual to ship to Canada. Please allow for this extra time, if you are planning to purchase an item. Cancellations: All items are made to order. If you change your mind, orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of your purchase. After 24 hours, materials and labor expenses require that your order is completed. However, I do allow Returns if your item is damaged or you are not delighted with your purchase. See "Returns" policy . There are no Returns or Cancellations on custom crafted items and tools

Refund & Exchange Policy

Returns: I will accept returns/cancellations ONLY within 24 hours of purchase. If your item is damaged in shipping, or you are not delighted with it, you may return it ONLY within 24 hours of your receiving it (which must be confirmed with USPS Tracking.) However, there are NO RETURNS after 24 hours. *ALL Shipping is not-refundable, and customers will be responsible for returned-item shipping.* You may contact me for possible repairs if you have purchased a heavily used object. But, you may be subject to repair fees, and shipping fees. Please treat your wand and handmade items with proper care, as they can be damaged by small children or pets, and I cannot be responsible for damage incurred in this way. Custom Items: There are no Cancellations or Returns on custom crafted items. Fees: A $25 fee will be retained by the Shop, for Items that are Returned to Sender due to no fault of the seller, (your address was not current or correct via Etsy or Pay Pal, you have moved, you never picked up your package at the post office in the case of a P.O. Box). This $25 will cover my labor time and materials cost. It is up to the buyer to make sure your address is current, and to keep up with your P.O. Box notifications and pick up your package at it's shipped destination. Lost Items: Packages lost after 30 days are not the responsibility of the seller. The buyer must file the proper lost package paperwork with the post office in their area. In some cases, I will re-ship the item if it is returned to me at no fault of the buyer, but the buyer must pay for the shipping. If anything is returned to me due to my OWN fault (wrong address, typo in address, not enough shipping, etc.) the item will be reshipped to you at no cost. All packages are shipped with tracking, and it's the buyer's responsibility to make sure their items have arrived, and to notify W&W if their package never showed up. Each case will be treated with as much care and communication as possible, provided it's within the 30 day return window. Cancellations: All items are made to order.
