Forged iron cuff bracelet -- i11812
This started out as a bit of round bar and with a little heat and a hammer it became a cuff. Much of my work is free form in that I don't really know where I'm going when I start and I don't really ever repeat myself. I let the scrap of metal dictate its final form. This means all of my pieces are one of a kind. Iron will rust if it sits in water. The oils in skin will protect it and it is waxed for that too. If it ever develops a little rust spot, oil or wax will take care of it. Size ~ 2 1/8” w x 1 3/4” d inside -- 1” opening Weight ~ 4.9 oz. / 139 g
