I start my Heavy Leather Holsters with 8oz. to 10oz. Vegetable Tanned Drum Dyed Cowhides. Vegetable Tanned Leather is tanned by using tannis and other ingredients found in vegetable matter, such as tree bark prepared in bark mills, wood, leaves, fruit & roots. Each Holster is individually Cut from large hides. I then prepare each for lacing by hand punching each piece with a leather punch tool. Next the Belt Loop is attached by hand stitching to the main body, then the Holster is hand stitched together to complete the Holster. The stitching is a Polyester Waxed Stitching that will last a lifetime. I use the same process to produce all of my leather products.
