The Painted Acorn

I have dabbled in many places.... sewing, printmaking, painting, drawing, jewelry, sculpture, pottery, and computer graphic design to name a few. I challenge myself to first use the resources already on hand before buying new materials, so a lot of my work uses recycled goods; such as scrap fabric and old buttons, to reclaimed wood and found objects. I enjoy creating handmade items and art for friends and family, my home and others. The items in this shop are varied and mostly the result of those creative endeavors where I have made duplicates to share.
