Sweetgrass Roots Story My story starts with my love and passion for everything organic and natural. I live in a small town located in central Massachusetts. This is where I grew up and now where my husband and I are raising our two wonderful and energetic boys. My journey, love and passion for everything natural started when I was young. I love being outside and enjoying all the benefits that nature has to offer. I started realizing the importance of natural and sustainable ingredients when I was a little bit older. I started making products about 6 years ago for my self, my family and now for you. I am a Certified Aromatherapist and use essential oils in my home, car and everywhere else daily. Like most, my days are busy. I wanted to find someway to get the benefits that essential oils provide and to make it convenient. I've tried and failed to find a way to take my oils with me during the day or night. Then I found the lava stone. Lava stone is easily the oldest stone found in the world and is used in many cultures. It bubbles up from the core of the earth and cools at the surface. Once the stone is cool it becomes porous, black or brown making it an ideal tool for absorbing and diffusing oils. Volcanic Lava stones have many benefits and should be worn close to the skin. This is why all of my essential oil diffusing jewelry is made with lava stone. The diffusion process works by distributing essential oil molecules through the air. Once in the air, they are inhaled and come into contact with nerves that send them directly to the brain. Some benefits include but are not limited to its ability to reduce anxiety, ease depression, boost energy levels, speed up the healing process, eliminate headaches, boost cognitive performance, induce sleep, strengthen the immune system, reduce pain, improve digestion, and increase circulation. You can make up your own essential oil blends or use a blend you have purchased. Place a drop or two on the lava stone and wait for it to absorb. This is a quick and safe way of letting essential oils go to work for you. I love that nature provides what we need to help improve our quality of life.
