Spicy Stitches PDX

Welcome to Spicy Stitches PDX! My name is Helen. I've been knitting since elementary school and crocheting for the past 5 years. I've grown up in Portland most of my life and have incorporated reduce, reuse and recycle practices for as long as I can remember. While individuals have a much smaller impact than large corporations, I still aim to be mindful of the materials I use everyday. My goal in opening Spicy Stitches PDX is to help reduce existing materials from reaching the landfills when designing winter accessories. I carefully source my yarn from resale stores, thrift stores, thrift craft stores, and scraps or partial skeins from my current stash.
