We will refund your money using the same form of payment you originally used. Your bank or credit card may take a few additional days to credit the funds to you. Exchanges If you would like to exchange the product you received for a similar item, you may do so for up to 30 days after you receive it. 1. Product must be in new, unused condition to exchange. You will receive notification that the return has been received and when the replacement item ships. Restocking Fee We try to avoid charging a restocking fee in most cases. However, if a product is returned to us in damaged or used condition, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee. The restocking fee is at our sole discretion and will be based on condition. Defective or Damaged Merchandise In the rare instance that the product you receive is damaged or defective on arrival, you must notify us within 72 hours of receipt. Description of damage or defect 5. Photo(s) of damage if possible We will respond within 3 business days with further instructions and a resolution. In most cases you will not be responsible for any additional shipping charges in the case of damage or defect. Gift Returns/Exchanges If you received your shipment as a gift, you may return it for a store credit within 30 days of receipt. 1. Product must be in new, unused condition to receive credit. You can use the credit on most of the websites our products are sold on. Cancellations If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. In some cases we may ship your order the same day that we receive it. As long as you contact us before the order ships, we will be able to process the cancellation. Once your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund in 1-2 business days. In the event that you wish to cancel an order that has already shipped, you can either refuse the shipment, or follow the return procedures outlined above. Order Modifications If you need to modify your order, please email us orders@southernhomesupply.com. Please provide the following information: 1. Your name 2. Order Number 3. Website you placed the order on 4. Description of modification (i.e. new ship to address, different color, etc) We will contact you via email to confirm receipt of the modification request. Shipping Policy Carriers Domestic – We ship most orders using USPS Priority Mail. We will provide a tracking number via email at the time of shipment. For very small shipments, we will occasionally use First Class Mail. We will typically add insurance on purchase over $150 at our expense. If you would like to purchase insurance for your shipment, please contact us before ordering. This can usually be added for a very small fee. We will occasionally use UPS or FedEx, usually for very heavy or large shipments. USPS Priority Mail delivers in 2-3 days in most cases. We are not responsible for delays through the Post Office. International – We do ship internationally to almost every country. Typically orders are shipped using First Class Mail. Shipments can take between 5 and 30 days to arrive depending on a number of factors (which country you are in, length of time in customs, size of package, etc.). As the buyer/importer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties that may be assessed. Turnaround Most of our products are custom made to order. In most cases, your order will ship between 3-15 business days. We ship orders as quickly as possible. You are typically given an estimated shipping date at the time of purchase. Please be aware this is only an estimate, and although most orders are shipped ahead of schedule, there are times where orders are shipped after this date. We do our best to communicate delays. If your purchase is needed by a specific date, please communicate this to us at the time of order. We will do our best to accommodate it and will let you know if we cannot meet that deadline. Around holidays, turnaround times will be longer. Expedited Processing In most cases, we are able to offer Expedited Processing for an additional $15 fee. Your order will ship within 3 days. Contact us if you want this service and we will verify your purchase is eligible for this and take payment. Gift Packaging We do offer basic gift packaging, including a gift box and tissue paper, for most products. If you would like to have your product packed in gift packaging, there is a charge of $3 per box. Backorders In the event that your product cannot be delivered in the time promised due to a backorder, we will notify you via email and give you the option to cancel the order. Because manufacturer backorders are out of our control, we cannot offer further discounts for back orders when we communicate it before your shipment is late. If you are not notified until after your shipment date has passed, we will be happy to work with you to find a reasonable solution. Additional Information Although we do everything possible to avoid it, occasionally there may be an error in a listing or a miscalculated shipping charge. We reserve the right to contact you and modify the order in the case of a gross miscalculation. You will always have the option to cancel the order.
