Loads of long, soft, raw-edged shabby strips of colorful vintage sari silk and chiffon ribbons in shades of purple and green, plus gold art yarn textiles, make up the essence of a Carnival Parade! Every tattered fabric piece was hand-cut, ironed and hand-tied onto a 12" round hard foam base. The centerpiece is a fabulous mask - a lacey, gold, filigree laser-cut metal mask, with embedded rhinestones. And what Mardi Gras party wouldn't be complete without chains and beads! This wreath is embellished with vintage 24k gold jewelry chains with bells and charms attached, plus a faux gold string of Mardi Gras beads. The hanging loop is made from a bright golden silk ribbon.
Finished wreath measures approximately 16 inches wide, and 35 inches long including loop.
This stunning wreath will add a touch of gypsy-whimsy and bohemian party flair to anywhere it is displayed. Not recommended for outdoor use.
