These “supersized” Santa Fe feeders are modeled after the Taos Pueblo Village architecture. Supporting logs or "vigas" are set into the terra cotta walls. The feeding basin is closed by a terra cotta wall for the seed.
The rich terra cotta natural clay surface is enhanced with iron oxide washes and individual windows highlighted with contrasting spot glazes. A new glaze option is the whitewashed "Taos" also shown below. Just let us know which you prefer. No two alike, of course.
