Flannel and Fleece Upcycled Shirt Jacket
This is an upcycled flannel shirt jacket. Part of it is a flannel shirt and then I have added fleece pieces to make it a warm jacket. I doubled the sleeves by adding another set of sleeves from a hooded sweatshirt inside the existing shirt sleeves and sewed them in along the shirt shoulder seams. I cut the back section out of the same hooded sweatshirt by cutting along the seam on the sides and along the shoulders and neckline and added that to the inside of the back of the jacket. I used the kangaroo pocket from the hoodie, cut it in half, and added it to the front of the jacket on either side of the button placket, plus I added the hood to the jacket by stitching it under the existing collar. This jacket is approximately a size large, but please check the measurements below with your own before purchasing. My style of sewing leaves some of the seam edges raw so as you are wearing your jacket and after it has been machine washed and dried you will see some fraying. Measurements are approximate and done with the item laying flat. Armpit to armpit: 23" Length: 31" Width: 23" Inner Sleeve: 21" Outer Sleeve: 25" Thanks for visiting my shop!
