Plaid Flannel Shirt Jacket
This is an upcycled plaid flannel shirt jacket in red, green, and white. It started as a lightweight green and white plaid flannel shirt and then I have added red, white, and yellow plaid flannel pieces, jean pockets, and a denim patchwork applique. I doubled the warmth of the sleeves by adding a set of dark gray fleece sleeves inside the existing shirt sleeves and sewn around the shoulder seam. I sewed denim pieces together in a patchwork style onto a cotton floral napkin and added that to the back of the jacket. There are two jean pockets on the front that are sewn on at an angle. This jacket is approximately a size small, but please check the measurements below with your own before purchasing. My style of sewing leaves some of the edges raw so as you are wearing your jacket and after it has been machine washed and dried you will see some fraying. Measurements are approximate and done with the item laying flat. Armpit to armpit: 20" Length: 32" Width: 19" Sleeve: 25 1/2" Thanks for visiting my shop!
