Comes in a food-grade, 2 oz. (60ml) screw top tin container with tamper proof band. A little goes a long way--this container will last through many many uses. I N G R E D I E N T S: 100% Pure Beeswax All Natural, Organic, cold-pressed pure Jojoba Oil Jojoba (pronounced ho-HO-ba) is an all-natural vegetable oil/wax derived from the Jojoba bean native to the Sonoran Desert (Arizona, California, Mexico). *While we refer to it as "jojoba oil", jojoba is not technically an oil, as it does not contain triglycerides. We use natural Jojoba as it is one of the most shelf-stable natural oils we have available, where other vegetable oils (olive oil, canola oil etc.) will tend to turn rancid (with a foul odor) over time; Jojoba oil is oxidatively stable and has a near indefinite shelf life. We use Certified 100% Organic HobaCare Jojoba that has been produced and processed in accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture's National Organic Program (USDA NOP). Certified by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), who are authorized as certifiers under the USDA NOP. U S E S : Our Wood conditioning pastes work on all types of kitchen woodware; wooden bowls, wood & bamboo cutting boards, wooden spoons, wooden utensils, and wooden trays... to name a few. D I R E C T I O N S : To maintain the supple board finish; we recommend resealing with an oil or beeswax oil blend every few uses. Resealing your board is easy with our ready-made beeswax wood conditioners! When your board becomes lighter in color and feels 'dry' to the touch, that's when you know it's time to re-season your board. Simply rub a small amount of your Wood Butter Conditioning Paste onto your clean, dry board with the grain of the wood...with your fingers or a clean rag....and let soak in for a few minutes. Any excess should be buffed off with a clean rag, in the direction of the grain of the wood, until the board has a smooth sheen. This wood conditioning treatment helps prevent staining, cracking, and food odor absorption.
