Created to highlight the gray tabby's beautiful green eyes, I used my cat Davey, as a model in this piece (and many others!) He looks so distinguished, looking off into the distance, that I decided to put some vintage 1960's style browline glasses on him. I could just picture him typing away at his Remington typewriter sporting a jaunty hat, and smoking a lucky strike. I drew the image of the silver tabby in a realistic style with colored pencil and watercolor paint. To bring out the beautiful green, I magnified the cat's green eye for the background. The image is a 5 X 7 print on lustre photographic paper.
