This special friend birthday card celebrates a special somebody by showcasing a surprise inside!
Light blue card stock is the base for this playful, handmade birthday card. Yellow card stock, which has been dry embossed with small polka dots, is the next layer. Eight balloons of various colors sit on top of that. The center of the card front is a large card stock square, which has been raised with dimensional stickers. This square has been stamped with this phrase: "It's time to celebrate with cake."
The real star of this handmade card, though, is the inside. As you open it, a 3D, happy-birthday cake pops out! Made of yellow card stock, this interior also features five candles atop the cake. The stamped saying, "Make a wish." appears in the upper left-hand corner and "Let's party!" sits in the lower right-hand corner. This card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and comes with a coordinating, decorated envelope, as shown.
