This golden vase is so beautiful done with decoupage that everyone that has seen it thinks that the flowers were actually painted by hand instead. The entire vase stands 8 inches high and is painted with a sparkling see-through gold and decoupaged with purple, pink, peach, white, and other muted colored flowers with green leaves. I then used gold paint to trace the flowers to make them stand out. It is lacquered with a heavy gloss to make it shiny, and is my favorite piece. The inside is glass and can hold water. I would not recommend submersing the vase in water, but you can clean the outside with a slightly damp clean cloth. This is a one of a kind piece, but I can use the same colors and paper to decoupage another one similar to it.
