This is made using a glass block obtained from the hardware store, which I have drilled with a hole in the bottom for inserting mini lights. The artwork of your choice with an appropriate poem on the back. The top is decorated with ribbons, silk flowers and other decorative items to enhance its look. The butterfly block was made using a picture from a calendar. The block with the donkey, Mary and Joseph amazed with baby Jesus was my husband's creation for a Christmas card one year. I have made them with family photos, photo of a beloved pet or a newborn baby, barn pictures, landscape, etc. I also have many other ideas for you.
