Escaping diamonds is a modern quilt design that has its origins in a traditional block, the 9 patch. The name comes from the diamonds which have escaped from the field of the quilt and found their way onto the border, just as sometimes we want to be rebels and escape our structured and predictable lives. Done in black and white with accents of pink and yellow, this is a striking quilt that would look beautiful displayed over the back of a chair or as a wall hanging. It is warm and cozy, perfect for keeping warm on the cold nights of winter. This quilt measures 58" x 59" and could be used as a lap quilt, a nap quilt, a picnic blanket, a table cloth or a wall hanging. It was created suing 100% cotton fabric and polyester batting. The design of this quilt could easily be recreated using any color combination to match your decor.
