My passion for handcrafted jewelry started when I was a teenager, but became a passion as I have aged and have more time to devote to creating the beautiful and intricate work that I make today.I started my handcrafting journey as a child, learning how to make all different types of handcrafts taught to me by my grandmother and great grandmother. I knew there were so many more designs and different materials that I wanted to expand my knowledge. I wanted to create jewelry that makes the wear feel happy and add a touch of sparkle to their lives. I was once a shy person that used to create jewelry for myself and for friends and neighbors, but I overcame the fear of telling others that I make handcrafted jewelry. In 2020, when the pandemic started I began making more jewelry as a stress reliever due to the confinement of being home. After realizing that I had a large amount of jewelry made I decided to start my handmade jewelry business in 2022. Miss Guided Beader was opened to provide customers with outstanding jewelry made with love and care. This is my way of supporting myself, my 2 rescued homeless dogs and the 3 cats I inherited when my mom passed away. My goal is that my jewelry will give you memories that can last a lifetime, with that touch of happiness and sparkle that brings us joy.
