Payment Policy
I accept payment via PayPal, money order, or check. With money order or check payments, item(s) will ship when payment is received and cleared. Please contact me at info@mirandasloom.com to arrange money order or check payments. I offer a 90 day 0% interest payment plan for orders over $150 USD. The down payment is 1/3 of the total (not including shipping) for me to hold your item(s) from my salable inventory. Payments can be made at your convenience within 90 days. The final payment will have shipping added. Abandoned purchases will be relisted for sale after the 90 day period.
Shipping Policy
I ship orders in 1-2 business days. Contact me at info@mirandasloom.com for rush shipping quotes. Items are usually shipped by USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation (where available) unless requested otherwise. Small items ship by USPS First Class mail. To change the shipping method of your purchase, just send me a message and I'll reply with a new quote. International orders may be subject to customs fees depending on your country's laws. Listings have estimated shipping charges. If you've been overcharged by $1.00 or more, I will reimburse you the overage via PayPal.
Refund & Exchange Policy
Satisfaction is guaranteed. I pride myself on quality and attention to detail. However, if your purchase does not meet your expectations, it may be returned for a full refund, less shipping costs, within 7 days of receipt. Please send me a message regarding the return and provide the delivery confirmation number of the package. Other Policies
Custom Orders: I can sometimes fit custom orders into my schedule. I'll gladly collaborate with you in the planning stages, and will email pictures of the work in progress. Weavings are usually completed and ready to ship in 6 to 10 weeks, depending on my workload and the size of the project. A non-refundable half payment is required up front, with the second half plus shipping due when the item is completed. Contact me at info [at!] mirandasloom.com for custom order requests. ~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~ Information on some of my favorite fibers: TENCEL Tencel, a natural fiber yarn made from wood pulp cellulose, offers a unique combination of the most desirable properties of man made and natural fibers: soft as silk, strong as polyester, cool as linen, warm as wool and as absorbent as cotton. It is quickly renewable, and processed with a non-toxic, recyclable dissolving agent, most of which is recycled back into the fiber manufacturing process. Like other natural fibers, Tencel is naturally biodegradable. Tencel is yarn dyed and absorbs colors much better than many other fibers, giving it a rich and beautiful sheen. BAMBOO Bamboo is a natural cellulose fiber. It is strong, absorbent, cool, soft and has an excellent drape. It naturally degrades in soil, is non-toxic to the environment after decomposing, has natural antibiotic properties, is quickly renewable, odor resistant, and ultraviolet light resistant. Bamboo blends well with cotton, hemp, and soy silk.
