Mama Cassi's Handmade Doll Delights's Policies

Introduction

Hello and welcome! I'm Mama Cassi, hand sewing all items (no sewing machine!) and making lovely garments to last. All items are machine washable unless the fabrics aren't friendly to water. All thread is double strung, conditioned against mildew and for strength, and all seams are finished, hems double turned for durability. All items are custom made to order, unless otherwise specified. I am constantly making new garment styles, and love to seek out older styles and patterns so that your dolls will not just look beautiful, but have that timeless style that you just can't get in commercially made clothes. No plastic formed shoes and hot glued trims here! I also am glad to take custom commissions, matching to existing outfits. Would your bridesmaid like a matching doll dress? Would your quinceanera girl like a matching dress? Perhaps a first communion? Favorite outfit? Holiday dress? School uniform? Just let me know, and we'll see what we can conceive together.

Payment Policy

I accept PayPal and Google Payments. Gift certificates are available if you want to gift some magic to your family. Custom orders will not start until payment is made. Cancelled custom orders must be cancelled within 2 business days, or the cost of the item can only be applied to other items in the shop (no refunds). If custom fabric is purchased, the cost of the fabric will be deducted from the store credit amount.

Shipping Policy

All items are shipped USPS Priority mail. I send items in flat rate boxes whenever possible - combining shipping is always an option! If you want to add additional insurance (each package is insured for $50), please let me know. All items will have tracking. I ship as soon as I can - items are completed daily, and shipped as they are completed. If you have a specific day you need items for, please let me know so I can ensure that your order arrives before it is needed.

Refund & Exchange Policy

For ready to ship items, returns are accepted within 7 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Many items are custom made to order - if the fabric is one I have on hand, a 25% fee will apply for custom orders cancelled after 2 business days from order. If custom fabric is ordered, the cost of the fabric will be withheld from the amount. In the unlikely event that items are damaged in transit, please notify me immediately and send photos of the damage - I will either instruct you to return the items for repair or will replace them.

Other Policies

Multiple orders of the same garment, placed at the same time, will get a discount. This discount will vary based on the fabric chosen, but will average 15%. If you have fabric you'd like to use (the same fabric as an existing garment, or an older garment you want me to incorporate into a new doll outfit) I will also offer a discount, if you ship the fabric to me. For custom patterns or matches to existing clothes (i.e. matching a child's dress) I will send photos for approval before mailing the item. Once you have approved the photos, no further changes can be made without additional charges. If the outfit will be for a young child or someone with physical limitations, please let me know so that we can make alterations to the fasteners and pattern as needed - I can use Velcro instead of hook and eye fasteners, remove buttons, add ties or make buttons large for hands that need help. I reserve the right to substitute fabrics of similar quality or better if fabric is unavailable. I also reserve the right to decline to use specific fabrics that may be unsuitable for the pattern selected - I will gladly work with you to find a suitable replacement. All items are guaranteed free from defects under normal conditions - items abused will not be covered.
