Magdalena--Long Oxidized Sterling Silver Necklace--Vintage Aqua Glass Cabochon
I adore this necklace so much I don't even know where to start. The vintage glass cabochon has a sort of abstract floral design bordered by faceted dots. I've surrounded it with a half-bead frame and soldered it to a hand sawn base with some very sultry curves. The pendant is suspended from a couple of jump rings, a larger beaded one and a smaller plain one. The chain has been studded with beads at intervals, which gives it an antique feel. I've oxidized this sterling silver beauty then buffed off the high points to bring out the details. The chain measures 26 1/2" long and the pendant assembly adds another 2 5/8". The pendant is just over an inch wide. I *made* this necklace and I'm still almost speechless about it. I had the cabochon for at least a year before I figured out what to do with it. I believe it was well worth the wait. I choose my clothing based on what jewelry I want to wear and this necklace makes a plain black outfit look freaking fantastic. It can go from casual with jeans and boots to formal with a black dress and heels. I'm pretty proud of this one, folks. Each of my pieces is signed, dated, and marked "925" for sterling silver. This necklace will ship in three to five business days, all boxed up and ready to be given as a gift (or kept). The last photo shows my packaging (earrings not included). I can include a note to the recipient if you wish. Pay shipping for the first item, and everything else in your order ships for free! ***I can also get this cabochon in lavender, green, clear, and opaque black. Just send me a convo if you're interested in any of the other colors.*** ------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the rest of my shop for www.aftcra.com/luckstruck I'm over on the Facebook.
