Thanks for visiting my shop! I want to make your shopping experience the best possible. If you have any questions about my policies, please ask me to clarify. DOG WARNING: Please note, there are two Cocker Spaniel dogs in my household. While they do not have access to my items or supplies, shoppers with allergies should be aware that there may be traces of pet dander that I cannot avoid.
Since I live in lovely sales tax-free New Hampshire, there is no sales tax on items purchased through my shop.
SHIPPING ADDRESS: *Please* double check your shipping address before submitting your order. I am required to ship to the address provided with your PayPal payment. If that does not match your order's shipping address, your order may end up in the wrong place. If an order goes to the wrong address because of such a discrepancy and it cannot be recovered, no refund will be possible. If the order is recovered, additional shipping charges will apply to re-send the item to your correct address. I will take responsibility for any errors on my part, including refunding and/or replacing items. HANDLING: Unless otherwise noted in my shop announcement or in a listing, all ready-to-ship items will be shipped within 1-3 business days of receiving payment. Custom orders can take up to 10 business days, though I try to complete them faster. If there is an unexpected delay with your order, I will contact you by email and you will have the option of receiving a full refund if the time frame does not fit your needs. If you would like to request an alternate shipping method, I am happy to explore the cost of the method you would prefer. Please contact me *before* you purchase your items to arrange for special shipping - any additional shipping charges will be added to the item's shipping cost before purchase. ARE YOU IN A HURRY? If you need your order rushed, please contact me before placing your order. I can investigate the cost of faster shipping, and I will adjust the cost for you prior to purchase. I can also provide an estimated time frame for rush custom orders. Please also know that I truly *cannot* guarantee delivery by a specific date. I have no control or influence over the US Postal Service or any other shipping company. All I can do is provide the estimated arrival date provided by the shipping company. SHIPPING RATES: My shipping rates take into account the postage cost, a bubble mailer or envelope, packaging to protect your order during shipping, and labor/time to carefully wrap, label, and deliver each order to the post office. COUNTRY RESTRICTIONS: Some countries restrict what items can be mailed into the country. If you are unsure of your country's restrictions, please do some research before placing your order. If I am aware of a restriction within your country related to an item you have purchased, I will contact you before I cancel your order and provide a full refund. If I am not aware that your country restricts an item, and the order comes back to me after an attempt at shipping, I will refund the item cost only - not the shipping cost. There are too many restrictions for me to be able to track them, so I cannot take on the cost for shipping attempts that are blocked by Customs Offices. CUSTOMS & DUTY FEES: The customer is responsible for paying any additional customs fees or taxes for your purchases. Please investigate your country's laws before making a purchase if you are not sure. Items returned to me because the buyer refused to pay additional taxes or fees will be handled on a case-by-case basis, but in no case will the shipping cost be refunded.
Refund & Exchange Policy
GENERAL POLICIES: If an item you purchased turns out to be not quite what you were looking for, please contact me within 5 days of receiving the item. The receipt date will be determined by the package tracking number provided by the US Postal Service (or whichever mailing service was purchased). Whether you need to return an item or exchange it for another, I will do everything I can to make the experience a pleasant one. Items must be returned in their original packaging, unworn and unused. CUSTOM ORDERS Returns or exchanges of custom ordered items will be handled case by case. If I can list your custom ordered item in my shop for the general public to purchase, I will accept your return or exchange. If your item is specific enough that it would not appeal to the general public, a return or exchange may not be possible. Example: a necklace with a sea glass pendant would appeal to a wide customer base and so a return would be accepted. A ring with your birth date stamped into it would not appeal to a wide customer base and so a return would not be possible. EARRINGS: For hygiene reasons, earrings that are returned or exchanged will only receive partial refund or credit since I will need to replace the sterling silver ear wires. The only exception is in the case of damage during shipping, in which case I will replace the damaged items (see below for details). If you have any questions before you purchase any earrings from my shop, please do not hesitate to contact me. RETURNS: I will refund the item cost of the returned item(s) once I receive the item(s) back in the mail. The customer is responsible for paying for shipping to return the item. The original shipping cost of an order is non-refundable. EXCHANGES: I will credit the item cost of the returned item(s) toward your exchange, and if the new order costs less than the original, I will refund you the difference. New shipping charges do apply for the new item you will receive, and the customer is responsible for paying for shipping to return the items. The original shipping cost of an order is non-refundable. ITEMS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING: I always hope for the best but try to plan for the worst when it comes to shipping. Though I package every order carefully to protect your purchase through rough handling, accidents can happen and items can be damaged in transit. Neither you nor I can control this, but I will assume responsibility for replacing or refunding your order in these situations. If your order was damaged in shipping, contact me with a photo of the item and damaged package before shipping it back to me. A photo proving the damage to the item is required for any refund related to the damage. Whether you opt to return or exchange the item, I will credit you the full item cost, your original shipping cost, and the cost to ship the damaged item back to me when you include your shipping receipt with the item. Damaged items must be returned to me in order to qualify for a refund or exchange, and a receipt for the shipping cost must be included to receive a credit for that amount.
