This rustic necklace has the deepest, brightest teal color of Sari ribbon I've ever seen. And tiny threads of burgundy run through it. Wear it long and layered with a fall-colored tassle, or wrapped like a choker and 20" necklace (two for the price of one!). The burgundy colored wire wrapping picks up the faintest hint of the burgundy in the ribbon (speaking of ribbon - I always wash mine when it comes in, so yours will be clean).
This big piece of quartz was mined in the Snoqualmie Pass in Washington state - the miner had to rappel off a cliff for it! It is very rough cut - still has some sediment on the back and top, which adds to the copper colors so well of the overall piece. I used high quality copper chain with rounded metal and nice details, and wove the Sari ribbon through it. The clasp is Tierra cast (lead-free, nickle-free pewter) toggle, "Sunburst" style.
This wil make an unforgettable gift for someone special! Your treasure will arrive nicely wrapped and ready for gift-giving.
