This fun little body bar works hard to gently cleanse and moisturize your whole body in the shower or bath. No added scents or chemicals (not even essential oils) make this salve quite suitable for people with scent and chemical sensitivities. What makes this cleansing bar so unique is the complete absence of any soap in its formulation! This bar is fantastic for those who are familiar with, and also new to, the 'oil cleansing method' of washing one's skin. Though it may be hard to believe (and I was definitely suspicious at first, before I tried this out for myself), oil dissolves oil, and cocoa butter dissolves excess oil and helps remove dirt from skin. Simply pop this bar into the shower and use as you would a regular bar of soap. Instead of the foam / bubbles that accompany traditional soap, you will experience a nice cream lather, as well as light exfoliating action, when you apply this to your damp skin in the shower. The Un-Soap Bar keeps its shape and does not fall apart after use!
The cocoa butter slowly melts away as it works to gently remove excess oil and skin debris without depleting moisture; the oatmeal delicately cleanses and exfoliates while soothing even the most sensitive skin; the kaolin clay smooths and purifies skin, and the rice powder gently exfoliates and sloughs off dead skin cells.
Instructions for Use: Massage into damp skin in bath or shower, rinse off and towel dry. Store in dry place with drainage (I use a wooden soap holder with grooves). Lasts for 5-6 uses.
Product Care: Since this product is made with only natural ingredients it is sensitive to extreme temperatures. Please avoid storing in direct sunlight, especially during hot summer months (nothing bad will happen, the bar just may melt a little). If any product melting occurs, just pop the un-soap in the fridge for 20 minutes to solidify and you are good to go! Shelf life: 3-12 months or more.
