This scarf is woven in the "saori" style of weaving, which is a free-style hand weaving movement that started in Osaka, Japan. There are many unique yarns and fibers used in this piece, which is truly one-of-a-kind because the design cannot be repeated! Wool, silks, and exotic fibers such as yak, cashmere, alpaca & even camel are used here; many are handspun and/or hand-dyed; commercial blends also are used (some may contain nylon or acrylic). This piece is quite soft (in my opinion) but if you have any sort of wool sensitivity, I would caution you against next-to-skin wear. I have done my best to accurately represent the colors in this piece, but know that some monitors will display colors differently (fun fact: smart phones and tablets tend to display the truest colors). Item is one-of-a-kind and ready to ship as-is. Size: 69 inches long (excluding fringe) x 8 inches wide Care instructions: hand wash in tepid water with a no-rinse detergent such as Allure Fiber Wash or Eucalan Delicate Wash. Lay flat to dry away from sunlight.
