I enjoy spending time outdoors but more often than not I am driven back inside by insects. It's either that or hose down with harmful chemicals. I don't know which is worse! OK, the mosquitos are worse.
But there are options! This all natural insect repellent is made with organic materials, much safer than any store bought spray, and it actually works! Thyme essential oil, especially, has shown potent repellent activity with a protection rate of 91% at a concentration of just 0.05% according to the Department of Life Science and School of Agricultural Biotechnology, Korea.
Count me in! I can't stand breathing those harmful chemicals. Essential oils even smell good!
I start with a base of jojoba oil, witch hazel, grain alcohol, olive and sunflower oil. I then add thyme essential oil, lemon, eucalyptus, lavender, tea tree, peppermint, and rosemary essential oils. Ships next day.
Not recommended for children under 3. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
