Fristrom design

Hello, thank you for checking out my shop! My name is Pinja Friström and I'm the designer and owner of Friström design. I'm originally from Helsinki, Finland and I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in summer of 2010 because I married the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We live in a lovely small house in SLC with our two wonderful dogs and small corn snake. Me and my husband enjoy camping and small everyday things such as sitting on the couch next to each other watching a movie together. I have a degree in fashion design and have a passion for designing and sewing. I've won a design competition and have had some of my designs on local runway shows. On my spare time I do alterations and custom clothing. Ive been an assistant designer and pattern maker for university of utah's ballet and modern dance. I love things with texture which is why you see textured clothing in my shop (suede, pleather, chiffon, exposed zippers etc). I enjoy looking at the beautiful mountain scenery here in Utah and occasionally take inspiration from the beautiful Utah landscape.
