I found bunches of tiny lightbulbs at a surplus shop and had to make something wearable with them. The temptation was irresistible. Around that time, I had acquired a book of sonnets by who would later become my favorite poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Wanting to make something using her quotes, I stumbled across the perfect match for one of my lightbulbs: "Light tomorrow with today". I have combined the industrial steel wire, lightbulb, and chain with softer, more feminine materials like lace and velvet ribbon to create a beautiful contrast. The choker measures 14" in length.
