Filthy Freehand

My name is Sarah and I've got the mouth of a sailor and a love of letters. My interest in typography and hand lettering has been with me since I was a kid; however, it blossomed into a full-fledged love affair while working on my Bachelor's degree in Architecture at UW-Milwaukee. Combine that with my potty mouth, and Voila! Filthy Freehand was born! My focus is on hand lettering and the art of sign painting. My projects range from hand-drawn logos and hand painted goods to chalkboards and business signage. I live in Milwaukee with my husband, our son, and our dogs Biscuits and Waffles. I am a sucker for good bourbon and over-easy eggs.
