Double 9 Aluminum Dominoes with Box - Standard Dominoes and Custom Metal Box ***FREE SHIPPING***
A handmade custom set of Aluminum Dominoes complete with a matching aluminum box with Plexiglass lid. This is a standard set of 1/4" thick Aluminum dominoes. This is a complete double nine set. They have a brushed finish with soft rolled edges. All pips are drilled and countersunk and are acid etched to create a black appearance. These are not painted but chemically oxidized.. Each domino measures 1" X 2" X 1/4". I do not anodize or paint the aluminum. Each piece is handmade and there is no automation in their creation. The box is a fully welded Aluminum box to match the dominoes. The lid is clear Plexiglass allowing the beauty of the bones to show. The lid is attached using set screws and creates an industrial look. No one will have a set like this when you go to your local domino game night. Q/A: Q) If they are not anodized, will they scratch with use? A) Yes. Aluminum is a relatively soft metal and will scratch with use. A well played set will exhibit scratches and wear. This set has a rough brushed finish that will hide some scratches. However, they are not anodized on purpose so that with years of use, they will take on the patina of the players. Q) What condition are they in when shipped? A) I endeavor to make each piece as perfect as possible. This set has a #3 finish. Each domino is cleaned and brushed a final time to create a smooth, clean texture. When they arrive, it is up the user to create their own uniqueness to the set. Q) Are they heavy? A) The full set weights about 5 lbs. Q) Can I order a single domino to determine if I want to buy a complete set? A) Yes. I have a set cost to create a single domino and will ship it to you so you can better decide what style and thickness you prefer. Send me a message and let's discuss. If you have other questions, please feel free to message me. ***** Free Shipping ***** This set ships USPS Flat Rate.
