Crochet wool bootcuffs, boot toppers, boot socks, upcycled from wool.
I started by upcycling an excellent quality, 100 % Shetland Wool sweater in a mix of gray, black and tan stripes.
Then, I washed said sweater in hot water and FELTED it in the dryer....this allows the fabric to become extra sturdy while maintaining it's flexibility. (Plus, it's kinda fun to do something you're technically supposed to NEVER, EVER do....put wool sweaters in the dryer.)
~In this creative process, it's what you're SUPPOSED to do.
I then crocheted into the fabric with tan/taupe wool yarn to create the upper thigh area.
Will best fit a size SMALL to MEDIUM adult woman, but please check the measurements below and / or send me a convo if you need help with sizing...
(I am petite~around 100lbs~ & these fit over my skinny jeans perfectly during the photo shoot.)
MEASUREMENTS:
Approximately 7 & 1/2 inches LONG from bottom of bootcuff to top.
CIRCUMFERENCE:

Leg area will stretch to approximately 14 inches around.

Thank you for supporting handmade. Yay!
