This decorative ceramic tile was cast from a mold taken from an impression of a ceramic cookie mold. The glazes are painted on by hand.
This item is part of a body of work produced during an apprenticeship program at a ceramic tile facility in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The clay is a natural, locally sourced red earthenware.
All decorative tiles have a recessed notch on the back for hanging on a nail.
