Crafts Untold

Ceramic ornaments and decorative tiles were crafted in summer of 2014, during an apprenticeship program at a working history museum that still produces and sells decorative tile. The clay is a locally sourced, red earthenware and the glazes are the same lead based glazes used on the tiles produced by the museum. Pottery pieces were created during my undergraduate studies, between 2005 and 2011, at my local community college, Kutztown Univeristy of Pennsylvania, and a local high school. The clays used are stoneware, commercial white stoneware, and commercial red earthenware. The glazes on the pottery are food safe. Pottery will be listed soon, as I am still photographing and figuring the shipping costs. Please keep in mind that there may be slight variations in size, shape and/or color. Every effort is made in the creation process to ensure quality and consistency, but these slight variations also add to the unique charm of these handmade items.
