Ukko, Viking-Inspired Bone Necklace
This necklace is an idea I had in my car. The Hedningarna song Tuuli was playing. Ukko is a Finnish sky god, and he came to me in this form. A flashy purple and gold labradorite hangs from two muskrat ribs, and is accented with three snake vertebrae. The electroformed pendant is on a gunmetal chain with a lobster claw clasp, and the whole thing is about 19" around. The pendant is 3 1/2" across and 3" tall. The labradorite is about an inch across. The metal has a patina which is not sealed. The colors will change as you wear it, creating a piece that is truly unique to you, your body chemistry, and your surroundings. **************************************************************************** To save trees and reduce production costs for me (which keeps prices as low as possible for you), I do not include a printed receipt with your purchase unless specifically asked. You can track your package and find your receipt via Paypal. This gorgeous piece will come to you with free shipping, plus a free gift! I ship once a week on Saturdays. Disclosure: The bones/skulls I use are from various online sellers or from roadkill I collect. Most I process myself. Since I buy from more than one seller, these bones can come from a variety of sources: found bones, bones from taxidermists, trappers & hunters, or from collectors. Bones are *not* the reason people hunt or have animals mounted and/or stuffed, they are a byproduct of these actions. It is up to you as a buyer to decide if this qualifies as an "ethically sourced" product.
