C and T Custom Lures's Policies
All of our items are HANDMADE TO ORDER. Our current production time on custom items is no more than 2-7 days (depending on the item purchased). It's possible your order will be done sooner than that, but we simply can not make any promises due to fluctuating daily orders. We continue to work as quickly and efficiently as possible on each and every order placed.
Payment is due upon ordering.
Within the US, most packages are shipped with USPS first mail class and get delivered in up to 2-5 business days once dropped at the post office. However, for unknown reasons some packages get delayed (weather, postal system error, mis-routing, etc). If your order is time sensitive and you would like to receive it faster, please view our SPEEDY SHIPPING/ADD ON section for rush upgrades to add to your purchase. We also offer faster shipping options at checkout (Priority, Express, etc). Adding these upgrades does NOT change the production time. It simply allows you faster shipping speed once the item is mailed. US SHIPPING - We will ship all orders via USPS to keep shipping costs low to our customers. All shipments of lures are wrapped first in tissue paper, to protect from scratching. Then wrapped in bubble wrap, to protect while shipping. In almost all cases we will ship in a small envelope using USPS First Class mail, which indicates a 2-5 BUSINESS day shipping time frame. We do not promise this delivery time, but simply re-state what is posted as the USPS standard guidelines. The address given is where we will ship to. Please make sure the address given is up-to-date on Aftcra nd/ or PayPal. Buyer is responsible for re-shipping fees and purchases will not be refunded because of a wrong address or missing information. EXPEDITED SHIPPING (this add on is for quicker shipping ONLY. It does not change the posted production times) If in the USA - we offer upgrades to USPS Priority mail, which is indicated as a 2-3 BUSINESS day shipping time frame and USPS Express mail, which is indicated as a 1-2 BUSINESS day shipping time frame. If International - we offer upgrade to USPS International Priority Mail, which is indicated as a 6-10 business day shipping time frame and USPS International Express mail, which is indicated as a 3-5 business days shipping time frame. Again, we do not promise this delivery time, but simply re-state what is posted as the USPS standard guidelines. Our shop is not responsible for delays in shipping made by the USPS. We have no control over that aspect of the transaction. YES - WE SHIP INTERNATIONALLY!!!! We are thrilled to ship internationally. We ship via USPS First Class International mail, which can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on your location. We have sometimes experienced delays up to 6-8 weeks on rare occasions. Please understand that the delivery time of international shipping is completely out of the control of a shop owner due to customs processes and varying countries policies. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO RECENT FOREIGN ADMINISTRATION CHANGES TRACKING IS NOT AVAILABLE ON SHIPMENTS UNLESS UPGRADING YOUR SHIPPING CHOICE TO PRIORITY OR EXPRESS. We apologize for any inconvenience, however this is not an issue we have any control over. Please allow the full 8 weeks to expire before claiming a package is missing, especially during holidays. CUSTOM FEES/ETC - International customers are responsible for all fees associated with shipping to their respective countries. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms - no exceptions. If you refuse a shipment I can refund only once the package is safely back in my hands, less all shipping costs and any fees I may incur to get it back. If it is a personalized item with specific (names/dates/custom message), no refund will be given if the package is refused or returned. If you a refuse an item, return it to us and decide you want it returned, new shipping costs will be at the buyers expense. Also, we will not mark international shipments as "gift" or indicate lower pricing to avoid custom fees. Marking it as a such is mail fraud. We can not risk our business to honor such requests. PACKAGING - In an effort to be environmentally responsible, we use as few packaging and shipping materials as possible. We most often use 6x9 paper envelopes/packages, polymailers or recycled boxes for larger orders. We do not include a paper receipt in our orders. If you would like one, please request one. We feel it is a misuse of paper, given a receipt has already been issued electronically via Aftcra when the purchase is made, and when the item has shipped. If you desire any specific requests to your order (upgrades, deadlines, insurance, confirmation, etc), this needs to be made at the time of purchase.
Refund & Exchange Policy
CANCELLATIONS - If for some reason you decide to cancel your order, we will honor that request. However, if the item has already been started, materials have been used, time has been spent or designs have been discussed and pre-approved - the refund may not be granted or may not be in it's entirety. If the item is something we can not re-sell due to unique personalization (names, date) - we will not offer a refund of any kind once work has been started. We reserve the right to charge for time and/or materials since a majority of our orders are custom. The dollar amount refunded is the sole decision of the shop owner - however we will always be courteous and fair. :) REFUNDS/RETURNS: Returns are accepted ONLY if we have made a clear mistake in your order (hand stamped the wrong date or mis-spelled a name). We will require you to show us proof via photo and/or mailing the item back to us. (costs for shipping will be refunded via payment method if it was our mistake). The item will not be re-made if not doing so. This policy is to protect us from fraud and misuse of this refund/return policy. Because our job involves custom painting and handmade items, no two lures will be alike. You will need to be aware of inconsistencies and one of a kind uniqueness to each and every order due to the use of varying metals and/or paint applications. We do not re-make items for inconsistencies related to the hand stamping method or to the variances in the antiquing process in the metal. If you have custom specifications, these must be stated in the original purchase. We do not issue refunds when a purchase is made and it does not arrive by a certain date/holiday (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Father's Day and more). Indicating you want an item by a certain date in the notes does not ensure this will happen. Due to the amount of orders we receive each day - we do not view all notes until we are getting to those orders in our production list and they are ready to be worked on. The best way to contact us to receive immediate attention is through e-mail prior to purchase. Your purchase tells us you are aware of our policies. While we promise to do our best - we simply can not be responsible for having orders arrive by a deadline if it is sooner than our posted turnaround times or our method of shipping. This is why we offer rush production, upgrades in shipping, and quick answers via convos made directly to us. We are as up front as we can be in answering question promptly and accurately so that no miscommunication is had. DAMAGES/LOSSES: We can not be responsible for damages or losses. Any item marked as delivered on the USPS tracking will be considered as such. We do not replace items not received if tracking shows that it has been delivered as scheduled. If this is the case, please check with neighbors, the front door, and follow-up with your local post office to determine what can be done. We simply can not be responsible for items that say DELIVERED. We will pack and ship items to the best of our ability and send e-mails when items are shipped. If an item is lost in the mail, please contact us and we will do what we can to help, however the first step would be for the customer to contact their local post office and attempt to find out the package whereabouts using the tracking info that is provided via e-mail when the item is shipped. No package will be determine lost until 4 weeks past it's expected delivery time (US) or 8 weeks (INTERNATIONAL). No exceptions - even if it is a gift for someone due to a holiday. We simply can not be responsible for these unexpected situations. We will, however, file claims with USPS and proceed from there on a case by case basis and work with a customer to find a solution. If any package arrives with damaged or missing items, please contact us immediately. We will ask for you to provide us with proof, etc. From there we will file claims with the USPS. You will need to provide us with proof of damage and may be asked to return the item to us before any refund is issued if we determine that to be the correct step to take. These situations will all be examined on a case by case basis.
