Payment Policy
PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and Money Orders are accepted Payment is due at the time of order placement. Orders are only filled after payment clears successfully, and if a customer fails to provide viable payment within three (3) business days of order placement; Candaces Creations reserves the right to cancel the transaction. If you choose to use a money order, please note this will lengthen your processing time as your order will not be processed until I have received payment and it has cleared. Custom orders may require a nonrefundable down payment, but this is determined on a case by case basis. Please message me directly for more information regarding reserving a custom order.
Shipping Policy
Candaces Creations ships all products through USPS and a tracking number is provided on all orders. At this time, we do not offer insurance for our packages, but if you are interested in an upgrade please message me directly prior to purchase so we can discuss options. Each individual product has the lead time noted in the Shipping section, and this can vary from product to product. Edible goods (such as cakes and candies) will ship within a couple of days, as will most products that are not made to order. Custom orders will take several weeks to create (this is the processing time) and shipping will vary, so please message me directly with any concerns or questions. Candaces Creations is not responsible for damage that occurs outside of our care; and should a package be damaged in transit it is the responsibility of the customer to place a claim with their local postal service. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the accurate address is on any orders placed with us, as we will ship to the address on your receipt. We are not responsible for lost packages if the customer provides an incorrect address.
Refund & Exchange Policy
Here at Candaces Creations we take customer service very seriously. As such, all requests for refunds and exchanges are examined on a case by case basis. Due to the perishable nature of our edible products (such as cake pops and chocolates), refunds and exchanges are not available for them. If you receive an edible order and are dissatisfied with your product, please message me directly so that we may discuss a mutually satisfactory resolution. Candaces Creations may request a nonrefundable deposit for custom orders; and these deposits do not qualify for refunds or exchanges. These deposits cover the cost of materials and time to create product. For all other products, please message me directly within seven (7) days of receiving your order if you are interested in a refund or exchanges. If a customer would like a refund due to product damage, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide photographs through an Etsy conversation, and should a refund be approved, it is further the responsibility of the customer to return the product to the shop owner. The customer is responsible for the second round of shipping. Should a customer request a refund or exchange on a product that does not have any damage; they must request this within seven (7) business days. If the request is approved, they are responsible for the second round of shipping, and the product must be returned without any obvious damage or signs of wear and tear secondary to the customers use. Candaces Creations reserves the right to decline a refund should the product be returned in unsatisfactory manner.
