Bun & Ott Creations's Policies
While Bun & Ott Creations does offer some products that are previously made and ready to ship (listed in the description for said items), most of our products can be customized with specific colors, themes, names, etc. We are always happy to work with these specific requests in an effort to provide the best product to our customers and use the following guidelines to do so:
Bun & Ott Creations uses the Paypal system to process orders and payments. All payments must be made in this manner and must clear within 7 business days for your order to be processed. Any payments that do not clear in this timeframe will be cancelled. We will accept cancellation of an order within 48 hours of placement and refund your purchase in full. For an order to be cancelled we must receive your email request within this 48 hour timeframe. All other cancellations will not be refunded.
When your order is ready to ship, you will be notified and provided a tracking number (when applicable). We ship our products using the United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. As such, we are only able to ship items within the US at this time. For an additional fee we MAY be able to ship via UPS upon special request, but our preferred and primary shipping method is via the Postal Service. For the cost of shipping, priority or overnight shipping may be possible upon request. Otherwise, all orders will be shipped with standard Priority Mail shipping. For shipping requests or concerns please contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Turnaround - As per our Lead Time Chart, our products take time to complete and will be shipped ASAP once they are. Shipping via USPS only occurs Monday-Friday and generally takes 3-5 business days. Therefore, minimum product turnaround from date of the order placed will be 10-12 business days. As stated above, faster shipping options may be available for the additional cost of shipping. Rush Orders and Shipping - If you would like to order any of our products sooner than the minimum lead time listed in our Lead Time Chart, please email us (email@example.com). Rush orders cannot be guaranteed, however, depending on our current workload we will be willing to do our best to accommodate you. Please note, all rush orders will require a minimum of 3 days to complete, not including shipping times.
Refund & Exchange Policy
In the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your product, please email us within 48 hours of delivery to discuss what can be done to resolve your issue. If you would like to arrange an exchange for an issue such as damage during shipment or delivery, please do so within 48 hours of delivery and we will be happy to arrange that for you. In the event of a custom order being damaged please note we will do everything in our power to duplicate the design or product but as each item is handmade and most are one-of-a-kind some small variations are to be expected. Items damaged in transit may be exchanged if a) your damage claim is made within the specified 48 hour policy above, and b) pictures are provided showing the damaged state of the item. Items must be returned in their original condition in order for a refund or exchange to be processed, less shipping. Wear-and-Tear Limited Policy All products created and sold by Bun & Ott Creations come with a limited two-week warranty upon delivery. Provided care and use instructions included are followed, your Bun & Ott products should be beautiful additions to your home or wardrobe for quite some time. If you feel there is an issue with your purchased item within this two-week period, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For specific item warranties, please see below: Crocheted and Sewn Items - In the unlikely event that a crocheted or sewn item is damaged by normal use (unraveling yarn, busted seam, or other such production mishaps) photographic proof must be sent via email with your damage claim. You will receive a response within 48 hours about how best to resolve the issue. Home Decor Items - In the unlikely event your home decor item shows evidence of adhesive failure please provide photographic proof in an email to email@example.com. You will receive a response within 48 hours regarding how best to resolve the issue. Bun & Ott Creations are not liable for replacement of items due to customer non-compliance of proper care or wear-and-tear due to heavy use. Lead Times - Each of our products are completely handmade. This means each item will take an estimated minimum of 7 days to create once your order is placed. For more specific lead times pertaining to the product you are interested in please refer to our Lead Time Chart. If special tools or supplies are needed to complete your request this may increase the time needed to complete your order, however, we will let you know if that is the case within 24 hours of your order being placed (or during the customization request process, detailed below) as well as provide an estimate of additional time needed.
Customization Requests- We ask that any customization or special order requests be submitted via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) BEFORE your order is placed. This allows us to keep better track of special requests and payment information for individual orders and ensures we are able to accommodate your request before your order is placed, avoiding any miscommunications regarding expectations or discrepancies with pricing for your specific order. In some cases, we will need to create a new product listing for a custom order to ensure correct pricing. We will email this confirmation to you once your full order details have been provided.
