A Handwoven Wall Hanging / Tapestry
This wall hanging was made with cotton yarn as the warp thread and roving and sheep's wool as the weft. The sheep's wool was hand spun from a sheep named Betty in Walnutport, Pennsylvania and I then wove it into this geometric wall hanging! With a wooden dowel rod for hanging, you can either hammer a nail into a wall and center it under the dowel or I can include a strand of adjustable cotton yarn for hanging. Approx. 25 inches by 9 1/2 inches.
