
This 1950s white wedding gown came to me out of the blue from a friend and collegue! It was quite long, and very plain... so I made it short, added some lace and a little blue ribbon and crinoline!
Features:
- Original sheer, rouched layers of tulle at the neckline and skirt
- A mini-train, two panels of tulle in the back
- Hand stitched lace and deep blue ribbon at the waistline
- One 5 inch (12.7 cm) strip of deep blue crinoline stitched to the underskirt under two thin layers of tulle
Measurements:
- Bust: 36 inches (91.4 cm)
- Waist: 26 inches (66 cm)
- Hips: Free
- Length (from base of neck to hem:) 34 inches (86.4 cm)
- Back tulle panels extend just two inches beyond bottom hem.
