Eclectic Canvas

The first thing I can remember is learning to make things. I stood by and watched my Mom and grandmothers create beautiful items by sewing, crocheting, drawing, taking something like a clothes pen and making dolls with clothes for me to play with. I think I was 4 when I stated crocheting, 8 knitting, 9 sewing clothing for myself, 10 painting, sculpting, embroidery and by 7th grade I made all of my clothing. As I became an adult I was always creating something. I just never had enough time to do everything I wanted to create. As you can tell there are not many things I haven\'t tried and a million more yet to do. I married my childhood sweetheart and we have 3 adult children, 2 daughters and a son. They have blessed us with 6 beautiful grandchildren ages 4-9 and they keep my life fresh and lively. I have been a professional photographer for the last 10 years for Lifetouch Studios but am now concentrating on my art. I also teach workshops in my home for altered art and mixed media.
