Gold, purple, orange & blue Dichroic glass on a black glass background prominently display in this pendant.
This fused dichroic glass pendant is oval in shape & measures approximately 1" x 1.25" and weighs about 7.9 grams. The silver plated bail is attached with industrial strength adhesive.
All glass is hand cut by me, stacked in multiple layers and then fired in my kiln. It is properly annealed for strength and durability.
When fusing glass in my studio I use no molds or forms of any kind, thus this is truly a unique piece of wearable art
Dichroic glass is very difficult to photograph because the light reflecting at different angles changes the color. Any white spots in the photo are from the camera flash.
The pendant is lightweight and very durable. In the fusing process, it becomes thicker than traditional glass, making them everyday wearable art.
