If printing, turnaround will depend on printing method chosen, size of order, and how detailed the design is. Payment Policy

CUSTOM/CUSTOMIZED STATIONERY DEPOSIT (Print): A deposit is required for custom stationery such as wedding invitations, save the dates, programs, etc. This deposit is required for your first set of proofs and will apply to your order total. We will list a custom order on ETSY just for you to purchase for this deposit. Once we have designed your proofs the deposit cannot be refunded. This is due to the time we have invested in creating and designing your proofs. The remaining balance will be listed as a custom order on ETSY once final proof approval is given and prior to the order being sent to print or before a final print ready file will be emailed to you. DIGITAL HOUSE DESIGN ONLY: When customizing one of our digital house designs and you are printing them yourself, we require payment in full prior to the first proof being sent. All you need to do is purchase the listing for the design you are interested in and follow the instructions listed within the listing. For a full custom digital file, a deposit will be required prior to first proof and payment of remaining balance must be paid prior to the print ready file being sent to you or your printer. We accept credit cards and Paypal. ---------------------------------------------------------------- PROOFING PROCESS Because computer monitors and web browsers vary, the ink colors used in the digital preview of your invitations may appear differently in person, once they have been printed. To get a better idea of how a color will look once it has been printed, please place a sample order with us indicating the ink color(s) you are considering. For custom design work, we offer 5 initial concepts and 6 rounds of proofs to ensure you love every bit of your suite. We will send digital pdf versions of your invitation suite by email for your review. We are happy to make any changes you send us, though it is always helpful and will expedite the process if you are able to consolidate them into one email per proof. For customized design work, we offer 3 rounds of revisions and proofs, ensuring your colors, spelling, details, and punctuation. Please keep in mind the difference between custom and customized. Customized is where you choose one of our already designed pieces and customize it for your use, and custom is where we create a whole new design for you from scratch. Once we have final proof approval from you, we will process the remaining balance due and begin printing. It is important to take care when approving a final version of your suite. Proofs are extremely important because an approved proof is directly used in the printing process for your invitations and stationery. These cannot be altered once they have been approved. By approving a final proof you agree that all text and design will appear exactly as shown with no further changes necessary. PAYMENT BEFORE PRINTING Full payment on your order is required before printing begins. The balance will be due after proof approval and before printing. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PROOFING PROCESS? • Personalization of your wording • Color changes • Font changes (if font changes are allowed on the design, we will let you know prior if it is not, please convo us for more details) • Custom colors WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROOFING PROCESS WHEN CUSTOMIZING A HOUSE DESIGN? • Major layout changes • Custom items not already shown on the design or graphics changes These fall into the realm of a custom invitation. If these items are requested your order will be treated as a custom design and our custom design fee will apply and must be paid prior to printing. TYPOS AND ERRORS ON PRINTED PRODUCTS Young House Press is not responsible for errors on printed/digital stationery that were approved during the proofing process. We are happy to reprint your stationery at a discount in the case of an error found upon delivery. ---------------------------------------------------------------- FONT CHANGES Font changes are included in the proofing process but only on select designs. Some invitations, where the design is based around the font, cannot be changed. Please convo us prior to purchase if you like a design but would like the font changed so that we may be able to tell you if it’s possible. ---------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE PROOFREAD SLOWLY AND VERY CAREFULLY: WE PRINT DIRECTLY FROM THE FINAL, APPROVED PROOFS. ONCE YOU APPROVE THE PROOFS, THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER REVIEW OF YOUR ORDER FOR SPELLING, PUNCTUATION OR CONTENT. ---------------------------------------------------------------- SALES TAX (FL STATE CUSTOMERS) Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to Florida.

Shipping Policy

US SHIPPING ONLY AT THIS TIME All sample orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail (1-5 business days) unless another delivery method is chosen at checkout. We will not customize a sample order. These are solely for you to see the quality of our work. Full stationery orders (wedding invitations, programs, save the dates, etc.) ship out via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days) with tracking and insurance unless another delivery method is noted on your wording form and paid for in full. UPS shipping available upon request. ---------------------------------------------------------------- RUSH ORDERS Orders may be considered a RUSH if they are needed earlier than our current turnaround time. Rush orders are accepted depending on availability and the requirements of the project. Please convo us first prior to purchase if it is a RUSH order. If accepted, you will need to purchase the “RUSH my Order” listing, in addition to the listing for the design. If there is 30 days or less between placing your order and when you need your stationery in hand, full payment of the order will be due upon acceptance of the RUSH order by Young House Press.

Refund & Exchange Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY For customized stationery that requires proofs, such as wedding invitations, save the dates, menus, programs or personalized place cards, we will retain your non-refundable deposit, if you cancel your order after your proofs have been emailed. The reason is because of the time we spend creating your custom/customized proofs. When you place an order and commit to using our service, we immediately begin working on your personalized proofs. The design process is included in the pricing of our stationery and after it has been completed we cannot refund. Once you have approved your proofs and the printing process has been started, you cannot cancel your order, and no refunds will be given. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RETURNS Due to the custom nature of wedding invitations, returns and exchanges are not accepted. TYPOS AND ERRORS ON PRINTED PRODUCTS Young House Press is not responsible for errors on printed stationery that were approved by the client during the proofing process, so be sure to check your proofs carefully for spellings, punctuation, capitalization and grammar. COLORS AND COMPUTER MONITORS Returns based on color are not accepted. All computer monitors are different, so your printed stationery may not match what you see on your monitor. Which is why we advise ordering a sample with the requested colors. However, this option is not required, but is encouraged to ensure you are happy with the way the colors print. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other Policies

COPYING It is important to us that every custom design we create is our own. While we do encourage you to send us images of designs that you like and inspire you, so that we can get a good feel for your style, please do not ask us to copy or recreate another designers work for you. We just can’t do that, and we hate to disappoint our clients. Thank you for understanding. POST OFFICE Invitations, Wedding Invitations especially, sometimes incur additional postage because of their weight, or due to the shape of the finished piece. Young House Press is not responsible for any additional postage on your invitations or stationery. It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure they understand the postage of their invitations by having one completed piece weighed at the post office. Young House Press is not responsible for any lost or damaged pieces through the mailing process when the clients mail them out themselves. WE'RE HERE TO HELP! We carefully check each order prior to shipping, however, if there is a problem with your order please let us know as soon as possible!
