After recycling wine, liquor, soda and beer bottles, as well as the occasional piece of depression glass, I cut rings from them, melt the glass, and shape it by hand into icicles. The only tool I use other than a 2000 degree torch is a pair of pliers - no molds in my glass shop! - and then I pop them into the kiln for annealing which reduces stress in the glass and makes it more durable. Colors may vary from those shown, but each will be a different color. Sizes range from over 3" to over 6". I run a green shop, using recycled clean boxes, packaging peanuts, and bubble wrap whenever possible.
