Delicate wind-blown wildflowers in turquoise blue are torn from paper painted with gradated watercolor washes. Each tiny flower is made by tearing the petals one by one by hand, some detailing is done with an exacto knife, then the final flower is put together petal by petal. This original piece of art has 20 handmade flowers. Leaves and curly stems are torn by hand from green pantone paper and form the design foundation for this bouquet which is double-mounted on blue and white card stock. The finished 5 X 7 piece is affixed on matt board and may be hung on its own or framed.
