I am a blacksmith in NYC forging practical and artistic knives. I've made kitchen, utility, and fighting knives; as well as seaxes, daggers, axes, and short swords. Blade material is my own forged damascus/patternwelded steel or deferentially hardened monosteel, which I filework my makers mark on along the spine. Handle materials are brass, copper, or bronze and mosaic pin, with a range of hardwood from cocobolo to bamboo, as well as man-made materials. 3d printed guards and handles are an option both in high density polymers and solid cast brass or bronze or nickel silver. In the past I have successfully made knives from ashes of loved ones to create family heirlooms, and forge-welded meteorites with high carbon steel to create meteoric knives. I have several unsold knives in stock, but often people like to commission a specific style or design I custom forge just for them.
