Introduction

I started making my own jewelry about 10 years ago. I was pregnant with my first child, an being pregnant wanted to dress myself up a bit without too much expense. Plus, being pregnant and all, I wanted to feel prettier. So I began my jewelry making. I did it on and off, but really started to take off with it about a year ago. I've sold many pieces locally and thought I'd try my hand with it here on Etsy. I have really developed my own style using stainless steel and wire wrapping it around polished stones. I love the creativity it gives me, working with each stone organically, twisting the wire to suit each one in its own way. No 2 stones are alike, so although the idea will be the same, the result is different with how the stone and stainless steel come together and become one piece designed to beautify each wrist or neck that they grace. I have found a deep love and respect for all of the beauty that stones provide. It amazes me with the variety in color and markings each one has, all gorgeous in their own right. And what a privilege I have to showcase them in this way! I am striving the learn the names of the stones I work with, do as to pass that information on to you. Maybe you will fall in love with stones, just ad much as i have. Many of the unisex bracelets or anklets I have created have been so much fun to make. I love taking a pile of multi colored beads and creating a new piece each time, the colors can vary, be similar, or completely different. The prospects are exciting and endless, seeing how many different color variations I can come up with. There is so much beauty and excitement in possibilities with beads and stones....
