This is a beautiful, handmade, lighted music box. It will be created by printing YOUR custom photograph onto an 8" x 10" piece of glass. You can tell us if you prefer the music box designed portrait or landscape. This glass will then be installed -- using stainless steel glass standoffs -- onto a custom designed wood box. The box is slightly smaller in size than the glass, making this 3-D creation come to life! Based on your photograph, we will then choose to stain the box a variety of colors, or leave it natural. We always choose the best option to make your photo look it's most dynamic!
A music movement by Sankyo is then installed inside the box to amplify the sound. Sankyo has been making music movements since World War II, so this a top-notch music box. You can choose between the songs listed in the pull-down menu above. The song you select will be shown on the sticker on the back of your unit. You wind the music box in the back to play the song. The LED lights that were installed to light this up run on two CR2032 batteries - aka: watch batteries (which we have included). You can turn your box on and off in the back of the unit, so you choose if it is lit up or not.
The bottom of the box is lined in black felt, so you can place it on furniture, and move it, without fear of scratching the surface.
