The rustic appeal of this piece comes from the unique materials used. Old reclaimed and re-purposed wood were cut, sanded and stained, then connected with copper nails. The edges are torched and the copper heart on the city of Bozeman gives it a personalized look. A coating on the wood gives it a glossy effect as well as a protective, clear finish.
