Silver Enso
Silver Enso is a mini collage [4"X4"X1.5” D] created for an Annual 30/30 challenge. The symbol for the Zen Buddhist is known as the Enso which symbolizes the universe, nothingness, and enlightenment. The canvas is painted a turquoise on the upper half; maroon red half circle covers the lower half. The focal point is silver circle surrounded by sliver square beads on the lower 2/3rds of the outer circle. the upper 1/3 has square red beads that match a button that a silver hand cast face is adhered to. Works were created by 30+ Artists, creating 30 pieces in 30 days of the month of June. This is a mixed media/collage done on stretched canvas. It is lightweight and can be easily hung in a cubicle because of its small size.
