Payment Policy

Due to the nature of my work (personalized and unique to you) payment is expected immediately upon purchase. Cancellation Policy: I begin working on orders as soon as I receive them, therefore, personalized or customized items are non-refundable. Sales tax will be applied to all CT residents.

Shipping Policy

All custom orders will be shipped as soon as they are completed. Approximate time frame depends on workload. Large orders may take longer and should be discussed prior to order. Shipping price includes the following: packaging materials, delivery confirmation, insurance, and of course, the postage price. Notes on Shipping: I do not set out to make a profit on my shipping charges. Besides postage, I include tracking services with delivery confirmation and insurance. In addition, the shipping charges cover the cost of materials used to package your product, transport it to the post office, and get it to you in a reasonable amount of time. FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS Before I can quote a shipping rate I will need your: Full Name Shipping Address and Zip Code or Postal Code, Phone Number Email Address. International customers are responsible for any and all customs fees, taxes, levies, VAT, etc. that are due upon delivery of their package. These costs are not included in shipping charges paid to NewportCustomWood. Shipping can take 2 to 6 weeks and even longer. All sales are final for international orders, and no refunds will be issued. .

Refund & Exchange Policy

Newport Custom Wood strives to create the perfect keepsake for you. Please be sure to read any listing you decide to purchase in its entirety. Be sure to double check how you want your item personalized, as I will create it with the information you provide. I begin working on orders as soon as I receive them. Therefore, personalized items are non refundable Newport Custom Wood does not offer refunds or exchanges on personalized items. Non personalized item returns will be determined on a case by case basis and Newport Custom Wood must be contacted prior to return. All sales are final for international orders, and no refunds will be issued.

Other Policies

IMPORTANT: The products in my shop are created with wood. Wood has its own characteristics, including natural grain, knots, texture, etc. due to these characteristics, each individual piece will be different. Wood burning is done by hand (not machine) and will not always be smooth. This should not be considered a flaw or imperfection. In addition, many boxes require wood glue. Wood glue does not stain, and may be visible in small amounts on the inner portion of boxes.
